Prayer:
Almighty God, I give you thanks for Jesus’ love for us, for your
love for us, that you went to the cross, that you'd suffered and died there
because according to your wisdom and your full knowledge of all things, you
knew that this was the only way to bring us back to yourselves.
So I thank you that He is taking all of our
sins on the cross and that there, they have been destroyed. They died with him on the cross.
We give you thanks,
of course, that you raised Him who did so much for us that you glorify Him who
loves us, but you have shown your favor towards him and you're continuing favor
towards us.
But you have raised our Lord
and our Savior to New Life and that he now sits at your right hand interceding
for us.
We thank you that you're Holy Spirit is with us to give us your living
power to live in you now, and forever more, through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
